Last weekend was a good weekend for music with the Houston Press Music Awards Showcase, but this one isn’t looking too shabby either.

Quite a few good national and regional acts in town tonight (hell, even Carole King is playing at Cynthia Wood Mitchell Pavillion!)but the locals are well represented all weekend.
