Today is like the “Post About Celebs” day or something for me. Not sure why, but it is funny.
The Smoking Gun somehow acquired a letter from the CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, James Robinson, that absolutely BLASTS Lohan, who has, according to the letter, been arriving late and even missing entire days of filming for her new film “Georgia Rule.”
A few quotes:
We are all aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called “exhaustion.” We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior.
You have acted like a spoiled child and in doing so have alienated many of your co-workers and endangered the quality of this picture.
The letter goes on to threaten legal action if she doesn’t straighten up and even urges her to “take this letter seriously.”
Classic! Who is this guy and how can I shake his hand? It sounds more like a father scolding his daughter for wrecking the car he got her on her 16th birthday than a letter from a CEO of a film production studio, which is EXACTLY why I love it.
My one quibble is that he says that her actions have “endangered the quality of this picture.” In all honesty there, Jimmy, your HIRING of Lohan in the first place is what has endangered the quality of the picture. Being hungover probably improves what is undoubtedly an otherwise hideous performance from Lindz – in other words, the norm. But, nicely done on the letter, bro. Way to bring the sass!
