Another Tragic Loss; This One for a Friend

Last Sunday, my good friend, Carolann, lost her step brother. He was killed in an incident some of you may have read about in the paper or seen on TV.

He was a guy who was genuinely good and caring, but down on his luck. He was killed in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Atascosita by security guards who caught him shoplifting diapers. He was 30 years old.

The story is really too tragic for me to talk about. I feel deeply sad for her and her family and the situation with what happened was just to unreal to imagine. More information is below including requests from her family for prayers and flowers.

Please keep her family in your thoughts as they go through this very difficult time.

From Carolann:

I know that flowers for Stacy are VERY very important to my dad and the only thing I can think of to do that might help in his grieving is to put a request out there for flowers and prayers. I know that even a single flower sent by a stranger that cares would mean the world to my dad…if you can’t send flowers, and would still like to offer the family your condolences, you may send those via email to h.driver@sbcgolbal.net. Most importantly, a prayer for strength would be very much appreciated.
